John, Jr. has enjoyed a passion for all things medieval since our friends loaned us the Christian film Pendragon, which I highly recommend! He is also excited about his Lego Kingdoms, which as you see below, he received for his birthday. This was an amazing event. Real sword fighting! He got to make a shield, sword, etc. He's determined to get Mom just as passionate about this stuff as he is. I'm trying ... :-)
Looks like great fun. I was just at my first Ren Faire last weekend. It was the Bristol Ren Faire and it was huge. Saw jousting and all kinds of demonstrations, entertainment. Going again next weekend. My son Jon (18) just bought a lot of wardrobe to go as a knight/mercenary for hire. I bought a Turkey leg. Yummm.
